Pet XP and marketing XP both feed one level track. Looking after your Oddling and working with it are the same progress — that is deliberate, because a well-cared-for Oddling that never does marketing and a marketing machine you never feed are both missing the point.
Level 1 needs 200 XP. Each level after that needs 250 more than the last, so level 2 needs 450, level 3 needs 700, and so on.
